Moses Bliss, b. April 13, 1783, Bennigton, Vermont d. March 31, 1854, Shelburne, Chittenden County, Vermont. He was the son of Luther Bliss and Lovice Stebbins of Bennington, Vermont. He married August 7, 1808 1) Mary Pixley of Burlington, Vermont, who died Aug. 30, 1817. He married Sept 28, 1822 at Shelburne, Vermont 2) Sophia Isham she was the first white child born at Georgia, Vermont (no birth date given). She died at Brandon, Vermont on Sept. 24, 1870.
