Excerpt -- Mrs. Mary M. Core, widow of the late Capt., W. K. Core, died at the home of her son, J. A. Core in Masontown on Sunday after noon last, aged about sixty-six years. The remains were brought to her old home near the Camp Ground on Monday and interred on Tuesday in the Camp Ground Cemetery. Mrs. Core's maiden name was Lower and she was the mother of eight children, only three of whom survive; Joseph A., a railroad agent for the M & K at Masontown, Arthur C., residing on the old home farm, and William T. also of Camp Ground.
