Herkimer - Raymond Rasbach, 75, a resident here since 1893, died last night at his home, 322 Lansing Street, after a long illness.

He was born Nov. 1, 1883, in Fairfield, son of Alonzo and Amelia Cristman Rasbach. He came to this village when he was eight years old.

Mr. Rasbach was a maintenance man at the Duofold Co. in Mohawk for many years before retiring in 1956.

In 1918 he married Asenath Gilbert in Little Falls.

He was a member of Herkimer Lodge 423 F & AM, and the First Methodist Church.

Besides his wife he leaves a sister, Mrs. Essie Furcha of Herkimer, two brothers, Lewis and Bernard Rasbach, both of Herkimer, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Thursday from his home, the Rev. Fred G. Colnam, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in McConnellsville Cemetery.
