Stayton – Adella, 96, died May 21, 2021 in Stayton. She was born on May 24, 1924 in Foss, OK to Edward and Josephine Spitz. Adella married Albert L. Adams on Nov. 11, 1941 in Canute, OK, they later moved to Stayton in 1947. She loved flowers and won awards for her beautiful yard. Adella also enjoyed bingo, making doll clothes, and cake decorating. She was a seamstress for many years.
Adella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, daughter Doris Cooper and son Jerry. She is survived by sons: Jim (Jane), Bob (Cheryl), Dennis, Ron, Leon (Julie); daughters: Terri (Jim Clarke), and Renae; son-in-law; Bruce Cooper; daughter-in-law; Darlene Adams; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 2 – great-great-grandchildren.
Recitation of Rosary will be Thursday, May 27 at 7:00 pm with Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 28 at 11:00 am both at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she was a member. Reception to follow service. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Stayton. Contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Altar Society. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
