Mr. Replogle died Sunday at Brandon Woods Retirement Center.
He was born Aug. 28, 1907, in Anthony. He had lived in Lawrence since 1957.
Mr. Replogle was a maintenance supervisor at Kansas University, where he worked in the physical plant for the athletic department for 18 years before his retirement in 1972. Before coming to Lawrence, he owned a grain elevator in Waldron, had a bulk fuel route there and had worked in maintenance for several years in the late 1930s and early 1940s for the National Park Service in Death Valley and Yellowstone National Park.
He was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church, the Masonic Lodge in Anthony and had formerly served on the school board at Waldron before moving to Lawrence.
He was married to the former Irene Stark. She died and he later married Blanche Pryor Leisure on May 23, 1957, in Anthony. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Rex Wayne Replogle, Manhattan, Ray Max Replogle, Wayne, Neb., and Donald Lee Replogle, Waynoka, Okla.; a stepson, Walter John Leisure, Sikeston, Mo.; a brother, Max Replogle, Coral Gables, Fla.; a sister, Frances M. Billings, Hays; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
