Russell was preceded in death by his parents, wife; daughter; Robin Cheryl Moxley; one brother , Willard Ray Moxley; a sister; Helen Calloway; three brother-n-laws, Dr.James L.Calloway, Roy Royal and Avon Royal and three sisters-n-laws; Edith Moxley, Bea Royal, and Grace Royal.
Russell served his country in the US Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, watching Alabama football and Tarheel basketball.
He is survived by his two daughters; Willie Sue Black (Rickie ) of Sparta, Lisa Moxley and Kenneth Miles of Glade Valley, granddaughter; Casey Brown (Jared) of Boonville; two g-grandchildren, Alex and Daniel Brown; several nieces and nephews.
