Eva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of almost 54 years, Chester Miller; seven brothers, Allen Abernathy, Larry Abernathy, Everett Abernathy, Eugene Abernathy, Isaac Abernathy, Bobby Abernathy and Bill Abernathy.
Eva Jean and her husband Chester were lifelong residents of Oden, owning the Oden Store for years. She also worked at Jim's Jewelry, Action Reality and the First National Bank as the secretary. Eva was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was a sweet, kind, loving lady that loved her Lord, family and friends.
Eva Jean is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; two daughters and sons-in-law; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters-in-law; a special friend; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
