He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Paisley was co-owner of the Paisley-Moss Insurance Claims Agency at the time of his death and, for 35 years, was associated with the General Adjustment Bureau in Springfield as general adjuster.
He was a member of the Church of the Little Flower, Little Flower Men's Club, Insurance Adjusters Association, a 35-year member of the Elks Lodge and a life member of the K of C Council 4179. Surviving are his wife, Mary; one daughter; four sons; four grandchildren; one nephew and several cousins.
Services at Church of the Little Flower, the Rev. Ken Steffen officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
