Ova L. Jacobs age 97 passed away 5/26/2021. She lived most of her adult life in Hueytown. For the last six years she resided at Legacy Health Care of Pleasant Grove. She retired from Woodward Iron Company and later Bryce Construction. Special thanks to "Pleasantville" staff at Legacy and Journey Hospice.
She was preceded in death by the Love of her life, Louis Jacobs, her father, Lucien Sellers, sister Mardi Costello and nephew Joe Burchfield and his wife, Mary Catherine (Cat).
She is survived by nephew, Jerry Wayne Burchfield, great nieces, Vivian Leo (Don)and Vicki Burchfield. Also great nephews; Shawn Burchfield (Jamie), Nathan Burchfield (Lorie), and Brandon Burchfield. And numerous great great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
