Joseph was the 6th child of Ernest and Catherine Schindler. He worked and retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad. He died from a Coronary Occlusion from an arteriosclerosis disease. The informants name on the Death Certificate was Jennie Robinski.
No record has been found of him getting married. He was in a newspaper article that said he was assigned to the Reading division of the PRR. Joseph Schindler had a store that was used as a polling station for many years--this from 1929 in the Patriot-News.
In 1918 his employment was listed as being in Philadelphia. He lists his address for WWII draft as 620 Emerald Street and living with Lara Robinski.
