Martha A. Foster, 83, of Talbot died Tuesday noon in the Home hospital, Lafayette, where she was a patient three days. She had been ill six weeks.

Born in Warren county, she was married to Elmer Foster who died in 1937.

She was a member of the First Christian church at Prairie Green.

Surviving are five sons, Earl Foster of Attica, Henry of South Bend, Russell of Hoopeston, Earnest of Ambia, and Clem of Reynolds; three daughters. Miss Nellie Foster of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Wilmer Ransom of Talbot, and Miss Mary Foster of Lafayette; two brothers, Perry of Salem, Wash., and Howard of Lockeford, Cal.; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Cassidy of Richfield, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
