Rosemary Amanda Mays Lynch, 94, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas.
She was born on November 10, 1926 to the late John and SallyJohn (Derdan) Mays. Rosemary was born and raised in Corsicana, Texas, and went on to attend Texas A&M University at Commerce. There she was recognized in the Top 10 Most Beautiful Women on Campus. Rosemary married the love of her life, Tom Lynch and was married to him for 63 years. She was a devoted and attentive wife and mother. Rosemary enjoyed being a part of Book Clubs, Garden Clubs, and Bible Classes over the years. She loved and enjoyed antiques and shopping, especially at Neiman Marcus in North Park.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lynch, in 2013; her brother, John "Sonny" Mays, in 1949. She is survived by her son, John Lynch of Dallas; daughter, Cynthia Lynch of Dallas; nephew, Steven Mays; nieces, Beth Valtrop, Rebecca Greenstein, Gail Lynch, Mary Myers; and sisters-in-law, Martha Greenstein McEwin and Virginia Lynch.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 1:00pm in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas.
