Bud was born in Bloomington on April 20, 1934 to Otto and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Corbin) Baugh.
Bud retired as a welder from Otis Elevator and was a Trustee and Elder for several years at Turning Point Apostolic Church in Ellettsville. He loved the outdoors, mushroom hunting, bird watching, swimming in the quarry, and riding motorcycles. Bud and his wife, Irene, enjoyed traveling and sightseeing around the United States, especially in the southern states where they would visit different plantations.
