Per her death certificate she is buried in Radcliff cemetery.

A teacher, she was murdered while walking home from school one mile south of Valley Junction, Iowa. Her alleged killer, Joe Williams was born in Rosedale, Mississippi, on December 26, 1889. He was convicted in his 2nd trial and sentenced to hang, however, the verdict was overturned and he was convicted in a 3rd trial and sentenced to life in prison on June 14, 1923. He escaped from an Iowa prison farm on July 17, 1949 but was recaptured on August 23, 1949. His life sentence was changed to 90 years by Governor Hughes and he was pardoned on December 23, 1965. Prison records show he was discharged on January 17, 1968.
