The funeral for Addie B. Tyler, 84, of Faulk Street, Ardmore, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in Ardmore, with the Rev. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont.

Mrs. Tyler died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at her residence.

Mrs. Tyler was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Elkmont, to Lee Swanner and Hattie Edwards Swanner.

She lived all her life in this area. She was a member of Mays Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing, quilting, flowers, and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hugh Wilson Tyler, and one daughter, Jewel Pridmore; brother, Raymond Swanner and sisters, Irene Tyler and Clara Taylor.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby Tyler of Toney and Steve Tyler and wife Pam of Pulaski, Tenn.; one son-in-law, Don Pridmore of Toney; two daughters, Linda Elliott and husband Buddy of Ardmore, Lois Taylor and husband, the Rev. Billy Taylor of Athens; one brother, Buford Swanner of Elkmont; two sisters, Lura Andrews of Toney and Delia Nave of Athens; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
