SIDNEY B. BAILEY
Sidney B. Bailey, age 66 years passed away at Columbus Sunday from blood poisoning caused from a scratch which he received a year ago.
The remains arrived Monday over the K & M (R/R?) and were taken to the home of his daughter Mrs. Wm. Jenkinson on Wyllis Hill.
Mr. Bailey was a former resident of this place but has been living at Columbus for several years. He was a very highly respected citizen and his many friends were pained to hear of his death. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge which had charge of his funeral.
Mr Bailey leaves a wife, (Alvira Coffman Bailey) one daughter, (Permelia) Mrs. Wm. Jenkinson of this city and one son, John of Youngstown to mourn his departure.
The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Simpson M.E. Church conducted by Rev Rorhrock after which the remains were tenderly consigned in the Rocksprings cemetery by Biggs & Martin, funeral dierctors.
