ASHBEE, DONNA L. (nee DIXON) -

Age 82 on May 31, 2021, of Maris Grove, formerly of Newtown Square, PA, beloved wife of the late Wm. Barry Ashbee. She spent much of her early life supporting Barry's hockey career with the Hershey Bears and the Philadelphia Flyers.

Prior to retirement she was employed at the law firm of Riley Riper Hollin and Colagreco. She also was a longtime volunteer at Riddle Memorial Hospital and the Flyers' Wives Fight for Lives Charity. As a supportive Nana and avid sports fan, Donna could always be found on the sidelines or in the stands at her grandchildren's many sporting events. Family and friends were of paramount importance to Donna. She stayed in close contact with her extended Flyers family, her many nieces and nephews around the globe and cultivated lifelong friendships wherever she lived, from Weston, ON to Hershey, PA to Maris Grove.

Devoted Mother to Heather Lynn Oehler (Eric) and Daniel B. (Linda). Also survived by grandson Kyle B. Oehler, granddaughter Casey L. Oehler, sister Beverly Bradstock, sisters-in-law Shirley Clark (Warren), Joan Pulford, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, 3601 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148. Funeral service and interment in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Etobicoke, Ontario
