On Sunday, May 23nd, 2021 Alice (Mildred) McNary, loving wife and mother to three children, passed away at age 86.
Alice was born on December 12, 1934 in Tripp County, South Dakota and was the youngest of nine children. She was a beautician for over 40 years. On February 23rd, 1952, she married Hal McNary. They raised three children: Peggy, Jay, and Patty.
Alice loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed fishing with Hal, camping in the converted RV school bus, and Sunday dinners. Alice like to go to bongo, bingo, and the casino with her friends. Alice loved to watch the Seattle Mariners and Ichiro Suzuki, and cuss at the TV when they were not playing well. She was known for her quick wit, honest opinion, and work ethic.
Alice was preceded in death by her father and mother, Cornelius and Mildred, and her son Jay, granddaughter Allison. She is survived by her two daughters Peggy and Patty, their four children Jennie, Ruthie, Tom, and John, and 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery on Broadway at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson's Wellness Place parkinsonswellnessplace.org
