Julius (Fats) McDougall, 85, of 1817 Second Ave. E. International Falls, died Monday, Feb. 14, 1994, shortly after arrival at the Falls Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1908, at Callaway, Minn., and came to the Falls in 1926. He started his employment with Boise on May 1, 1942, and retired on May 31, 1972, from the Insulite Division.
He was married on Aug. 1, 1929, to the former Fedelia Lagoo.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Judith Ann McDougall and Helen Marie Young. Survivors include his widow, Fedelia; four sons, William McDougall of the Falls, Loren and wife Bonita in Washington, Gary and wife Carolyn of the Falls and Robert McDougall and wife Jeri of the Falls; four daughters, Eileen and husband Ray Metzler of Topeka, Kan., Lila McDougall and Geraldine Colvin of the Falls, Doris and husband Dale Elliott of Cosnovian, Mich; also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. at the Cudmore Funeral Home with the parish priest officiating. Burial will be held in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial would be appreciated to the Diabetes Association in his memory.
