Betty Elizabeth King, age 95 of Hilham passed from this life on Saturday morning, June 5, 2021 from the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Elwood, Indiana on May 23, 1926 to the late William and Iris Hieny Westrater. Betty loved her family, going to church, and quilting.
Betty leaves behind her grandchildren: Scott Keisling (Sheila) of Rickman, Bryan Keisling of Livingston, Jack King of Burkesville, Kentucky, Billy King, Dawn Michelle King, Beth Merritt, Paul Merritt, Betsy Lynne King , Chris King, Timothy Michael King, Tonya Baker, and Monica King - all of Anderson, Indiana; great grandchildren: Scotty Keisling, Kyle Keisling, and Ashly Griggs; son-in-law Bill Beechboard of Hilham; daughters-in-law: Helen King and Betsy King - both of Anderson, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband: Walter King; son: Jack King; daughter: Diana Beechboard; brothers: Bob Westrater, William Westrater, Jr., Larry Westrater, and Morris Bratton; and sisters: Orpha Etchinson, Maxine Lewis, and Rosemary Bright.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. John Mabry officiating. Burial followed in the Hilham Cemetery.
