He was the Satanic rapist known as the Beast of Jersey. He was a pedophile and a sex offender on top of being a rapist He terrorized the Channel Island of Jersey for 11 years between 1960 and 1971. He would enter homes when he knew the victims were alone and would take them from their beds. His Beast costume as it was called was a unique raincoat with nails coming out of the lapels, a black haired wig, and wrist bracelets studded with nails, and a horrifying rubber mask. The honest reason as to how he was caught is simply because on July 17, 1971 he ran a red light in a stolen car with elements of his "Beast" Costume inside. Multiple victims came forward describing Paisnel's evil activities with one having even become impregnanted by him. He was imprisoned for 30 years for his crimes and charged with sodomy, rape, and assault. He served his full 30 years and after he was released from prison he returned to Jersey but was run out of the area by locals so he fled to the Isle of Wight where he died of a heart attack in 1994. However, it wasn't until the 2008 abuse investigation of the Haut de la Garenne children's home that a victim recalled Paisnel climbing through the windows at night wearing his mask and gloves to assail the children. One witness confirmed he used chloroform on sleeping children and removed them from their beds to perform his sadistic acts elsewhere. It's said that there are other unsolved crimes that may be attributed to him.
