Jeffrey Owens, 68, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly at home May 1. A family tribute will be held on the Owens Family Farm in Woodbine, Maryland on Saturday, June 5. Jeff was born on April 5, 1953 to Alan and Mary Loretta Owens whom have preceded him in death. He went on to serve in the US Army and achieved Sargent status with in 3 years. He was also awarded Mechanic of the Year during his time in Honolulu, Hawaii before being honorably discharged. Jeff was previously married to Carol Owens for 28 years and was a business owner in Texas before entering the Carpenter's Union of NYC. He later worked as a Superintendent. He loved the outdoors, gardening, cooking and was very mechanically inclined. There wasn't anything he couldn't build or fix! Jeff will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Owens and her spouse Michael Jirak. Also by daughter, Lisa (Anthony) Reinglas and granddaughter Christen. He is survived by a brother Bill (Sharon) Owens. A sister Susan (Steve) Leatherwood. And sister Jennifer (Mike) Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his good friend, Carrie Haas.
