Of Portsmouth, N.H. at the time of his marriage in New York City, April 18, 1854, to Anna Pine Decatur, daughter of John P. Decatur. He was the father of Johnnie Pine and William Decatur Parsons.
He was engaged in commercial and shipping interests with Gov. Ichabod Goodwin, of Portsmouth, NH as well as with George B. Cummings of Savannah, GA.
