Mable G. Arbogast Trobee 1923 ~ 2007

Mable G. Arbogast Trobee, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on October 12, 2007. Her gentle spirit and gracious manner will be missed. She was a lady in the truest sense. Born November 15, 1923 in Salt Lake City to William and Lottie Arbogast. She attended Westminster High School and Junior College and graduated from the University of Utah in 1949. Mable married Maurice "Bud" Lee Trobee, June 26, 1944 during a short leave from the war. They spent 51 years together in Salt Lake City; Norton, KS; Riverside, CA; Memphis, TN and back to Riverside until Bud's death in 1995. Mable was a teacher of business in her earlier years and quite an accomplished artist. Her greatest source of happiness was her children.

Survived by her son Michael Lee Trobee (Jacqueline), Collierville, TN, daughter Suzanne Trobee Berrett (David), three grandchildren, Blake J. Berrett, Lane and Lauren Trobee. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud; granddaughter Cassie Berrett; sister Margaret A. Madron; brother Frederick Arbogast; and parents Lottie and William Arbogast.

The family would like to give special thanks to Sonia and Victor Hurtado and Tiffanie Morozin for the loving care they gave to Mable right up to the end of her life on earth. Mable will be laid to rest in Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery after a private family service on Tuesday the 16th of October.
