Daughter of Samuel Franklin Williamson and Experience Penny, wife of Charles Smith Havens, whom she married on December 14, 1858, in Laurel, New York, and mother of John Lewis, Lillian (married Grosvenor Stephen Adams), and Henrietta L. Havens.

Center Moriches, April 2.--Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the residence of her son, John L. Havens, for Mrs. Nancy M. Havens, who died Tuesday in her eighty-third year.


She was the widow of Charles S. Havens, who for many years was a leading Democrat and held many official positions of trust. Her son, John L. Havens, is one of the best-known men in Suffolk County. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Grover Adams of Greenport and Miss Hettie Haves of Brooklyn. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches, New York. Her executor was her son, John Havens.
