Celia A. Burnett- Morris, 89, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2007. Celia was born in Oxford, WI on November 23, 1917 to Walter and Eva Wohlfert. Celia was preceded in death by her husbands Andrew J. Burnett and Warner "Pete" Morris. She is survived by her son, Richard Burnett of Rialto, daughter-in-law, Karen, daughter, Patricia Hamblin of Chandler, AZ, son-in-law Steve, 4 grand children, and 5 great grand children. She graduated with honors from Oxford High School and Central State Teachers College in WI. She joined the Navy on Dec. 7, 1941 where she was a Pharmacist's Mate Second Class. She was an active member for 70 years of the Order of Eastern Star where she was a Past Matron of Rialto Chapter and served as Secretary of Rialto Chapter of Eastern Star for 30 years, and a member of the American Legion for 33 years. She attended church at the Orange Grove Chapel in Redlands with Richard and Karen. Graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tues. Nov. 13, 2007 at Forest La wn Memorial Park, Covina and memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. at the Rialto Historical Society Church at 201 N. Riverside Ave, Rialto. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
