Doug was a wonderful man and I had the honor of being married to him. We got together in 1973 and lived together for over 47 years. In 2013 the law allowed us to marry and on July 18, 2013 we were joined in marriage. Doug had a long career with his father in manufacturing small thin metal parts for the Aerospace industry. Later he changed careers to a coach operator and fell in love with it. He drove the buses for over 17 years and finally retired.
We finally bought our first house in 2015 and Doug could not have been happier. He spent 6 glorious years enjoying his retirement in his own home and he cherished our lives here.
I will forever miss him and he will remain in my heart until we are reunited again in heaven. I love you Doug......FOREVER.
