He was also preceded in death by his wife Virginia Ruth Forehand Sullivan.
Alton is survived by his daughter, Rita Sullivan Gaskins (Thomas) of Indian Springs, AL; son, Jerry Sullivan; granddaughters, Jennifer Hamby (Jesse), Stephanie Sullivan, Amy Hatcher (Cary), and Rebecca Gay (Austin); grandsons, Jeremy Gaskins and Alan Gaskins (Allison); as well as great-grandchildren, Ava Sullivan, Lila Ruth Hatcher, Bennett Hatcher, and Luke Gaskins. Sister Gerlene Turman. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
