Nancy P. Hughes is my 4th great grandmother. I do not know who her parents were. She married first a Mackie. I have never found his first name. They apparently had no children. She married second Alexander Elliott on 14 May 1823 in Wilkinson Co., Mississippi. They were in Carroll County, Mississippi by 1850. Nancy and Alexander had eight children. Her tombstone reads: In memory of Nancy P. Hughes, wife of Rev. Alex Elliott.
