Daughter of merchant Charles and Mary Georgiana Catharine Hemery nee Rundle who had 3 other children: Mary C, John V and Charles C S Hemery. The family are recorded on the 1861, 1871 and 1901 Census at "Gladsmuir", Monken Hadley where Anne later resided with husband Brigadier General Henry Tempest Hicks CB JP who were married on 30 Apr 1885 at St Mary the Virgin, Monken Hadley, Barnet. The couple had two children Captain Charles Edward Henry who died in action 1918 and Anne Monica Georgiana. The family are recorded on the 1891 Census residing at 2 Westbourne Terrace, Water Lane, St Saviour, Jersey and on the 1911 Census still residing at Gladsmuir House where she remains until her death. Anne was buried on 24th May 1935. Their daughter and her husband the right honorable Thomas Hall Rokeby lord viscount Plumer were named in the Probate record 8 Jul 1935 London.
