This woman did not have a mean bone in her body. She virtually raised 5 kids by herself. Her husband traveled extensively as a missionary in Ohio. In those days, there was no baby sitters to drop the kids off, no TV, computers to entertain the kids.

As the kids got older, she was the communicator, writing and sending letters to all the kids and family, letting each one know how he or she is doing. She did this for many years up until her death.

There are so many things that have happened to each of the 5 kids and their families that she missed out on.

We could always count on her for a word of encouragement in our darkest days.

Her quotes as written in caligraphy:

"quityourbellyachin"

"Note the teapot, up to her neck in steam and still she sings!"

She is truly gone and not forgotten..
