Percy Marion Nash, 81, a retired farmer, died Monday afternoon in the Oak Hill Hospital in Joplin where he had been a patient for 13 days. His Oswego home was 808 Indiana.

The son of Albert R. and Mary E. (McKee) Nash, he was born July 6, 1889, at Hallowell. On February 18, 1914, he was married to Maude Florence Jackson at Oswego. They farmed in the Faulkner area until 1957 when they moved into Chetopa. They came to Oswego four years ago, Mrs. Nash died December 11, 1968.

He was a member of the Faulkner Christian Church.

He was survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Chapman of Oswego; a son Albert, of Altamont; a brother Howard of Chetopa; three sisters, Mrs. Orpha McPherson and Mrs. Mamie Imel, of Chetopa; and Mrs. Clara Westervelt, Kansas City, Missouri. There are 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A daughter and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were at the Hammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Thursday, conducted by Richard Clark, Minister. Burial in Fly Creek Cemetery at Faulkner.
