Mr. Smith was born on June 2, 1935, in Adel, Georgia. Charles served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean war and was a member of the VFW. He retired from Ryder as a civil engineer mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Smith, brothers, Henry K. Smith and Fred Smith, and sister, Geneva Ann Smith. Mr. Smith passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at his home.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Venita Lord Smith of Dublin, daughter, Peggy Smith of Snellville, sisters, Hilda V. Smith of Snellville and Ruth Carol Smith of Ty Ty, Ga, and 3 grandchildren.
