Howard T. Raynham Rites Wednesday
Howard Thomas Raynham, 61, paint contractor, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home, 3115 DeVaughn street at 7 p.m. Monday. He was a native of St. Francisville and had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 25 years. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Raynham of St. Francisville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath funeral chapel. Interment will be in Forest Park cemetery. The body will remain at the chapel until hour for services. Conducting the rites will be Rev. F. M. Freeman, pastor of Noel Memorial Methodist Church, and the Rev. J. M. Owens, former rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Mr. Raynham is survived by his widow, Mrs. Olive Raynham, who is a linotype operator for the Times and who held a similar position at the Journal for a number of years, a brother, C. R. Raynham of Jackson, Miss., and a sister, Mrs. J. M. Caillouet, Woodville, Miss.
