MRS. BELLE DAVIS
Mrs. Belle Davis, 87, a resident of Fresno since 1910, died late yesteday in her home at 3025 Grant Avenue. She had been in failing health for more than six months.
A native of Collins, MO., she came to Fresno with her first husband, John T. Gash, a farmer. He died in 1913 and two years later she was married to R. S. Davis, a railroad man who died in 1930.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Lackey of Fresno and Mrs. Maude Bowlin of Holdenville, Okla.; two sons Carl B. Gash of Santa Cruz and Jewel C. Gash of Monterey; three stepchildren, John C. Davis of Pebble Beach, Thomas Davis of Fresno and Mrs. Nora Silveria of Hollister; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 10 AM in the chapel of the Lisle Funeral Home with Rev. A. G. Blacklock officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
