PIONEER DIES AT KOSSUTH AT AGE OF 99 YEARS
A life that had spanned a century of years and had witnessed the most remarkable development of the world, closed yesterday at Kossuth with the passing of Mrs. Mary Rebchek, whose death occurred at the home of her son, William, the old homestead of the Rebchek family. Death was peaceful, the aged woman sleeping life away. The remarkable vitality of Mrs. Rebchek is commented upon by those who knew her.
Mrs. Rebchek had been a resident of Manitowoc county for a large part of her long life and she was widely known among pioneers.
She is survived by one son, William, and four daughters, Mrs. A. Matheson of Denmark, Mrs. A. Wilda of Kellnersville, Mrs. F. Hersman of Denmark, and Mrs. L. Frank of this city.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning from St. Ann's church at Francis Creek.

"Grandma" Rebechek, who has lived almost a century, was called to her final resting place.
Funeral services were held at the home of her son and at the St. Anne's Catholic church and burial was at the adjoining cemetery last Thursday.
