Passed away, working at what he loved, on Friday, June 19th, 1998, at age 80. Matt Agar, predeceased by his wife Ruth (1995). Dear father of Tom Agar and his wife Sandy of Troy, New York, Gail and her husband Keith Haynes of Midlothian, Texas, Harry Agar and his wife Tani of Whitby, Judy and her husband John Grudgeon of Whitby, and John Agar and his wife Celia of Fergus. Predeceased by Richard (Dick). Loved grandfather of Sandy (Missy), Laura, Steven, Margaret (Peggy), Paul, Mark, Matthew, Tamara, Victoria, Andrew, Jason, Jessie and Jacob. Great-grandfather of nine. Survived by his sisters Margaret Bertram and Victoria Woods. Friends will be received by the family at Memorial Chapel Brooklin, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. Then to Brooklin United Church (Cassels and Princess Streets) where Funeral Service will be held at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon. Visitation at the church from 1 o'clock. Interment to follow at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin. If desired, memorial donations to the Brooklin United Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
