Christine "Chrissy" Spoonamore, 76, of Greenwood passed away June 18. She was born March 3, 1945 in Kentucky to the late Ted and Grace Pearl (Cowan) Abbott.
Chrissy was the proud mother of two children, Denny and Jeff. She was a long time employee of the Greenwood Moose, where she could be found serving up drinks to the patrons. Chrissy enjoyed decorating, reading (especially the "Twilight" saga, and good food. Most of all, she loved her family. There are many fond memories of weekends in Brown County with relatives and friends. Chrissy will be missed by so many.
Chrissy is survived by her son, Ron "Denny"; grandchildren, Abby, Ashton and Audrey; and her sister-in-law, Norma Abbott; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Chrissy was preceded in death by her husband, Denton "Shorty" Spoonamore; son, Jeff; daughter-in-law, Dottie Spoonamore; sisters, Dorene, Wilmirth "Willie", Sallie and Penny; brothers, Columbus and Kenneth.
A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
