Audrey Jeannette Brewer Weston, a devoted wife and mother, passed away in Annandale, Virginia, on June 20, 2021 at the age of 88. Audrey is survived by her cherished daughter Carol J. Brewer and son-in-law Steven J. Rosenstock of Annandale, Virginia. She was predeceased by her beloved husbands Joseph B. Brewer and John M. Weston.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Alfred and Jennie (Jones) Hughes, Audrey moved to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where she met and married Joe in 1958. They were married 30 years until his death. She married John in 1989 and was married to him for nearly 28 years until his death. Audrey will be best remembered as a caring, loving, and dedicated pillar of strength to family and friends alike. She was a lifelong Episcopalian who actively supported her church community and a dependable volunteer for local academic and charitable organizations. She was a member of the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania, Order of the Eastern Star for more than 65 years, and was awarded a Certificate of Achievement by the Order for her faithful service in 2005.
A funeral service was held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia on June 22, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 24,2021 at 1:30 P.M. at Grandview Cemetery, 2735 Walbert Ave. Allentown, PA.
