Lafayette: Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00AM at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette for Zaria Faith Gary.
Interment will be held at Gethsemane Gardens following the funeral.
Zaria Faith Gary 14, was a native of Lafayette, La. Was born on April 4, 2007 to Raymond Gary and Brandy Charles Gary. It's with deepest sadness that Zaria Faith Gary departed this life to her heavenly home on June 12, 2021.
Zaria now leaves to cherish her love and precious memories to her parents Raymond Gary and Brandy Charles Gary. Her grandmother Leola Charles Christian , 1 sister Verica Alexander(Roderick), 3 brothers, Raymond Gary III( Teesha), Jernathon Alexander, Rayvon Durall. Her first cousin she loved wholeheartedly Jakale(Tooda) Sinegal, whom she would let the world know he wasn't just her cousin, he's my brother. Her Godsister Miracle Sinegal that she loved as her little sister. Aunts, Virginia Montgomery, Paula Sinegal Powell(Barry), Ericka Sinegal(Mark), Nicole Sinegal, Katina Sinegal, Paulette Sinegal and Anita(Foxy)Damond. Uncles,Terry Gary(Eranika), Ricky Gary(Lillian), Hayward Sinegal Jr, Eric Sinegal, Patrick Anderson and Tony Anderson. Her 1st cousin Brittani Sinegal Batiste,who she admired and looked up to. Godparents, Shaquana Green who gave her unconditional love and Peter Giraurd. Zaria had 7 nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins that she loved and enjoyed being with .LIke she always said" That's my family". Zaria also had a special friend, Tavion George, Numerous best friends, Alley Paddio, Kali Parker, Comani Bonnet, Toni Broussrd, Jonnett Henry, Jordyne Dore, Azeviel (Deva)Francis, Shelly Hebert, Victravion Hebert, Christian Hebert, Johntravion Sparrow, And Ethan Sparrow.
Zaria was affectionately known by many nicknames, Bubble Gum, was from her mother, Tukkie, was from her father, Z, Zo, Feebie, and Butterfly, was from family. Zaria was the most loveable person, she made everyone happy and wanted everyone to get along. Zaria was always excited to go shopping to buy gifts for people, just to see the smile and appreciation upon their faces. Zaria was on her way to high school, and she was so excited, she would tell everyone. Zaria was a Basketball Player, she ran Track, and she just made the Dance Team. Zaria had so many special gifts. At the age of 4 she knew all the States and Capitals, she knew French and Spanish. In her elementary days Zaria was gifted and was promoted to higher grade. Zaria had a remarkable talent in hairdressing, she was doing a variety of styles on herself, family and friends. She enjoyed doing people's hair. Zaria had so many Dreams and Goals, she wanted to Become her own Boss(As She Would Say). She wanted her Own Beauty Shop. Zaria had a beautiful vision, beautiful heart, beautiful personality. Zaria always wanted everyone to be happy and to get along. Zaria enjoyed going spend days/nights with her big sister Verica Alexander and her nieces and nephews, also with her 1st cousins, Jakale(Tooda), Brittani(BB), Jasmine, Destiny, Dominique, Arielle, Delanna, Elcobie, Tyler, Hayward(Tune). She loved when family came together on gatherings and holidays. Zaria would always help her Mother in the kitchen, she was an excellent baker. Zaria would sit with her Father from a baby up until her teens and watch wrestling then afterwards pick on him by jumping on his back. Zaria Faith Gary, spirit so pure when she walked into a room, it would light up. Zaria was our shining star, she shined light upon all our lives. Zaria will be truly missed.
Zaria Faith Gary was preceded in death by her babysister Kyler Ellis Gary, Maternal Grandparent, Herbert(Herb)Christian. Her Paternal Grandparents, Theresa Davis, Raymond Gary Sr. Her Aunts Dexter Morel, and Genella Giraurd. Her uncles Andrus(Andy)Sinegal, Dwayne Sinegal, Ricky Dyer , Ronald Gary, Cousin Clarence Hypolite.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Kinchen Funeral Home form 10:00AM until time of service at 11:00AM.
