Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Lutheran Church for Louis O. Anderson, 60, resident of Polson, who passed away at a local hospital Saturday, following a lingering illness. Rev. M. Harold Rye conducted the rites and burial was in Lakeview cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ivor Vathing, Anton Johnson, Robert Watson, Al Hepp, Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Sigferd. The Shrider brothers mortuary of Ronan was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Mabel Roske of Ronan; Mrs. Bessie Sampson of Polson and Margaret Anderson of Portland, Oregon; one son Arnold Anderson of Portland; four brothers and one sister in Iowa, and one sister in North Dakota. His wife preceded him in death on June 4, 1941.
Mr. Anderson was born on May 22, 1882, at Graettinger, Iowa. He received his schooling at that place and later moved to Zake, North Dakota. He was married to Louisa Weltha in Humbolt County, Iowa on May 14, 1906. The couple moved to Polson in 1919, where they have since resided.
