Margaret Jean Jones

Margaret Jean "Maggie" Jones, 70, of McGuire Park, Weston, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2007, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, following a brief illness.

She was born June 5, 1936, at Gaston, a daughter of the late Hugh Herman Wamsley and Sarah Katherine Wamsley Bargerhuff.

On November 15, 1953, she married Lendal Robert "Bud" Jones Sr., who preceded her in death on March 15, 2006.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Lendal R. (Rob) Jones and wife Tammy Jones and David L. Jones and wife Tamatha Jones, all of Jane Lew; five grandchildren, Colton, Morgan, Amber, Jackie and Katie Jones; sister, Betty Clark of Gaston; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jones worked along side her husband in his auto upholstery business. She was a devoted wife and mother, and loved being Memaw to her grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Floyd Funeral Home of Weston. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 23, at the Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, Weston, with the Reverend Daniel Lowther officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew.
