David Andrew Davidson, 62, of Manteno, Ill., died Wednesday in Illinois in Rush Presbyterian Saint Luke's Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 13, 1920, in Wells, Mich., the son of Arvid and Stella Peterson Davidson. He married Catherine Garthwaite, who is from Oshkosh, on May 3, 1958, in Oshkosh.
Mr. Davidson was an engineer who worked for Installation Consultant Metalurgical Whiting Corp. in Harvey, Ill. retiring five years ago. He served as a merchant Marine in World War II.
Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Sharon) Hart, Marinette, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, the Rev. Frances Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
