Funeral service for Elizabeth "Betty-O" Oldacre Fuqua, 101, will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 5:30 PM at Cotaco Methodist Church with Bro. Fred Childs and Bro. Vann Wray officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Cotaco Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fuqua passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021. She was born April 4, 1920, in Morgan County to Daniel Oscar Oldacre and Lena Naomi Tapscott Oldacre.
Mrs. Fuqua was a founding member of the Cotaco United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a nurse for the Florette Senior Center, prior to her retirement.
Preceding her in death were her husband: James "Jim" Fuqua III, her parents, and a brother: Lorimer "Soup" Oldacre.
