She was born October 20, 1873 (according to the Alcorn Family Bible) in Elkhart County, Indiana. I see her stone is inscribed 1875. Her ages in the 1905 South Dakota census and the 1920 and 1930 census all correspond with the 1875 birth
year, so it is possible the Bible year is incorrect as it appears it was written some years later along with several other entries.
