Laura L. Gingrich, 70, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the MS Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. She was born on Sunday, November 5, 1950 to the late Kenneth and Geneva (Fordemwalt) Gingrich.



She enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays, especially her prized six foot tall snowman which was well known in the neighborhood. She also was an animal lover in particular dogs and elephants. Laura was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. More than anything she was a loving sister, aunt, and cousin.



Laura is survived by her brothers: Steven Gingrich and wife Elaine Torrance-Gingrich and Kerry and wife Danielle Gingrich; sister-in-law, Barbara Gingrich; aunt, Betty Kron; nieces and nephews, Jeff Gingrich and husband Norm Kohl, Julie Meilak and husband Brad, Amanda and Rebecca Torrance, and Jennifer Koser and husband Ken; and cousins, Cindy Gingrich and husband Rick Baker and Wendie Zearfoss. She is predeceased by a brother Kenneth Gingrich.



A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Reverend Stephanie Seigh officiating.



In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N Ramona Rd, Myerstown, PA 17067 or to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc., 7790 Grayson Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
