Betty L. Riggers, 90, of Huntington, passed away at 11:30 am Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her residence.
Betty was born on July 13, 1930 in Wabash County, IN, the daughter of Clarence Miller and Faye (Holcomb) Miller. She graduated from Wabash High School in 1948. She retired from Huntington Memorial Hospital after 30 years of service. Betty enjoyed crocheting, knitting, flowers, and loved taking in homeless animals.
Survivors include her two sons, Alan (Karen) Riggers of Huntington, IN, Douglas (Mary) Riggers of Huntington, IN; two daughters, Janet (John) Reust of Huntington, IN, Kathy (Phil) Venderley of Angola, IN; 9 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchidren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Miller, mother, Faye Miller, daughter, Nancy Riggers, 9 Brothers; Max Miller, Harold Miller, Ed Miller, Bob Miller, James Miller, Clarence Miller, Gene Miller, Kenneth Miller, and Richard Miller, and 2 Sisters; Lorene Driscoll and Mary Stevens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN, followed by funeral services at 12:00 pm, with Pastor Timothy Lorenz officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Marion, IN.
