Albert L. Carrier, 60, an employee of Brockway Motor Co. for many years, died suddenly Saturday, July 19, at his home near South Cortland. He was born Oct. 30, 1886 in Newburgh, son of Eber and Charlotte Greening Carrier. Surviving are his father, Eber Carrier; four sons, Herbert of Virgil, Robert of Dryden, Leonard of Ithaca and Pvt. Ralph Carrier of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Boice of Cortland and Mrs. Ada Budzinski of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Theodore Carrier of Virgil, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Dalley of Virgil and Mrs. Laura Theisen of Williamsville. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Strong Memorial Chapel in Dryden. Dr. Philip S. Nason of Cortland officiated. Interment was in Virgil.
