Frances Ann Frank (went by Frances or Ann) was the daughter of Christian Frank (c1799-c1888) and Mahetable "Hetty" Bailey (c1804-c1870/80), who married 14 Jan 1828 at Rowan County, North Carolina.

Frances married Nathan H. Gaither (c1824-c1876). Frances and Nathan were the parents of five known children, namely:

1. John S. Gaither (1855-1930)
2. Alice V. Gaither (c1859-???)
3. W. Burton Gaither (1863-???)
4. Amanda A. Gaither (1867-???)
