Sadie H Caffey Succumbs at 83
Mrs Sadie H Caffey 83 died at 8:55 pm Sunday at her home 118 - North Ash In poor health for some time she had been a resident of Ponca City since 1909.
Mrs Caffey daughter of the late Rev and Mrs W C McClanahan was born Feb 28 1875 in Niangua Mo and received her education in the Missouri schools. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Eureka Mo Surviving Mrs Caffey are four daughters Mrs Myrtle L Morefield Monrovia Calif Mrs Essie L Dearing 1809 North Woodland. Mrs Ellis D Revard 943 North Union and Mrs Goldie C Round 304 North Birch: three grandchildren Mrs Wanda Lee Jones 205 Flormable. Nancy Lou Caffey 943 North Union and C C Morefield Azusa Calif: five great-grandchildren Sandra Janet and Richard Jones of Ponca City and Craig and Janet Morefield of Azusa one sister Mrs Sam Medlock Conway Mo: two brothers O. L. McClanahan of Grove Springs Mo and W M McClanahan of Lebanon Mo several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 pm in the chapel of Gills Funeral Bome with the Rev R O Martin assisted by the Rev William R Henry pastor of the Asbury Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the 100F Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers Will be Earl Murray, Francis Murray, Tom and Leonard Dennison, Gale Prather and Wesley Willits Jr.
Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mrs Caffey a resident of Ponca City since 1909 died at her home Sunday after an extended period of ill health.
She is survived by four daughters Mrs Myrtle L Morefield of Monrovia Calif Mrs Essie L Dearing Mrs Ellis D Revard and Mrs Goldie C Round all of Ponca City: three grandchildren five great-grandchildren: a sister Mrs Sam Medlock of Conway Mo and two brothers O L McClanahan of Grove Springs Mo and W M McClanahan of Lebanon Mo
